Tipping only makes sense for jobs like uber, doordash, instacart, etc, because they'll lose money if they don't receive tips. If a waiter doesn't get tipped, it's fine because they do multiple tables at once so they're basically guaranteed to make tips.you can rest easy knowing the boomer at the next table is paying for you to eat tip-free.
