When I was a little boy in 1986, ALF was my favorite show. I loved it.I had to get a pretty invasive surgery. I was 5.To cheer me up, my parents bought me an ALF doll, and he came in a cardboard spaceship.I took that ALF doll with me to surgery, and I had a crazy out of body experience where I was floating above the operating room and I knew I had to get back to my body.I descended back into my body and I actually physically woke up mid surgery. I couldn't see well, and the anesthesiologist slammed the mask down on my face and knocked me out again.I was mostly concerned they'd taken away my ALF toy while I was sleeping. That felt like betrayal.RIP Sneed lady. You were a big part of my childhood.The weird thing about getting older is that everyone who defined your world-view as a kid was already adult. So when you reach your mid-40s, they're all entering their 70s and 80s, and there's this tipping point where they all start dropping like flies. So all the people that you grew up watching, listening to, etc - basically the whole world you knew as a kid - starts disappearing from underneath you. And then you've got 30-40 years left (if you're lucky) to live in this world you can't ever quite fully recognize anymore.

Doctors killed her with the "treatment" for the cancer, more likely. Probably found an indolent cancer by accident or on imaging for something else, biopsied it and caused tumor spillage and spread. Should have resected en bloc or left it alone. Doctors are murderers
