Honestly we should finally just accept our destiny as was written into the fabric of our nation when it was founded nearly 250 years ago. We arrived on this land and spread like wildfire. For two centuries, anyone who opposed us wiped out. We probably shouldn’t have picked this fight but maybe in some cosmic way we didn’t really have a choice and now the only question is how we end it. Maybe we’re destined to be the great villains of history, to run around the world leaving it ash and dust so we can repopulate it for us by us. Maybe that’s what we’re called to do by some force that’s bigger than political debate and money transfers. Ya know? :)
