>>537162044probably nothing or nothing of value. all the old school doing real work engineers have long since retired in the mid 2010s. the new hires are more concerned about tranny porn and fag rights than engineering work. they're still piggybacking on late 1990s/2000s designs. Even the "new" 6th gen fighters has been in concept since Bush jr. These new age diversity faggot hires ain't doing shit. the higher ups just hope one day AI will get good enough to carry out the research from the 2000s. yea hope AI will continue the work from 20 years ago. that's literally the hope. fucking faggots haven't done shit since.
>>537162044Hey there, non bot user here.To answer your question seriously, I think they are putting most of thier research into AI systems.
a ufo that sucks you off for fuel
Honestly we're nearing / at a point where the amount of money and effort you'd have to put in to push aircraft engineering farther than it already is (hypersonic / sub-orbital bombers?) would be better spent on developing better missiles and drones. The F-47 for example is less intended to be some kind of UFO-tier step change in aircraft design than basically "an F-35, but faster / stealthier / longer range and that can manage a squad of drones"
>>537163592At this point it seems like space to earth weaponry would be a better investment
