What you retards keep missing is that prior administrations froze those assets, and What obama did was unfreeze them.
There were also some weapons that the Shah bought that the USA refused to deliver to the new government. Obama gave that back too with interest.

Trump is funding the $300 b with donations from the gulf states and again, frozen iranian assets. . It's not tax payer money.
