Why can’t you guys wrap your head around the idea that not everyone who calls themselves a Christian is a Christian? If I call myself a Muslim but eat pork, drink alcohol, do porn, and advance liberalism am I Muslim? Of course not. There is clearly a logically reasonable prescriptive dogma which if strayed from would disqualify you from being properly understood as a Muslim.
