I haven't used AC in like a decade and don't miss it. I just open windows and use fans. Admittedly it does suck a little bit for like a week every year in august when it's like 100 out but I'm living in an area where it's just hot, not so hot for like a third of the year that people would die without them. Europe doesn't have extremes of climate and weather like the US does
