This guy is a total retard
The rich get richer and they own more and more profit making assets.
>>537214422you should totally start a youtube channel!
>>537214422Wealth taxes force sale of productive assets. They've been tried tons of European countries, and they did not work well.

>>537213931ugly too.
I would absolutely agree on taxing those who hoard housing and commercial buildings. And I would totally agree for draconian taxes if that housing and those commercial building aren't being used for anything at all. Also a tax on luxuries like 500mil yachts or even jewelry would do.Otherwise, it will just move the ownership of companies from those who build those companies and are good at managing them, to jewish bankers.
He's right. Tax wealth not work, why should I pay 50% tax going to work and producing things when millionaires who sit on their arses owning assets pay 10% tax?
>>537214980>Also a tax on luxuries like 500mil yachts or even jewelry would do.it's called VAT/sales tax
>>537215049because it's hard to value private businesses, and when it comes to shares of public companies, the value is constantly moving. we tried wealth taxes and they did not work well at all (which is why almost every country abolished them)
>>537213931>you will become wealthy by taxing the wealthyredistribution economics is great until you run out of their money, wealthy people; but enough about that, how much more tax can this cunt squeeze before the laffer curve kills us all?
>>537215049Yeah that millionaire wealth could be put to use housing loads more migrant rapists in luxury hotels in Britain's countryside.
We might as well. The difference between the US and the UK is that the threats don't work. "I'll stop investing in business then". Despite barely taxing assets we have one the lowest business investment rates in the world. If it is true that wealth taxes discourage investment, it is also empirically true for anyone that looks around the high street our currently very accommodative regime doesn't encourage investment, it just encourages financial piracy. If we were the US where people are chucking money around and building data centres every half mile we could have a different conversation.
>Me entrepreneurship mate just start ten businesses and you too can afford a starter home
>>537215212This is sort of desert island econ 101 stuff is fine in platonic theory but overlooks 2008. Apparently mass redistribution is perfectly fine so long as its from ordinary people to banks. You're talking 20 trillion globally in household wealth that was wiped and we've had a fucked currency, fucked economy, backbreaking public debts and austerity ever since.Dow is at 50k though huh.
>>537216212>Everyone is supposed to quit his job and start a business but first buy my online courses and books What's wrong with this weirdo?
>>537215274Richfags are also fine with mass migration because they're wealthy enough to avoid the consequences.Part of closing the wealth gap is decreasing their outsized political power.

He’s just a grifter. As a former trader myself I can confirm all financial parasites are just grifters in the end. They don’t have any special sauce, no competitive advantage. They’re just right place, right time, or leveraging the tools the institution gives them. What’s funny about this particular grifter is his grift is apparent to anyone with even an entry level familiarity with financial markets and economic history. A lot of what he says about the market is just patently demonstrably false and he makes these conclusions that are blatant non-sequiturs or outright lies. His whole project is staked on this idea that wealth redistribution necessarily stimulates growth and prosperity but that’s not even evidence let alone proven anywhere by any idea at all. It’s completely made up. By the way, I’ll just mention here that one of the tells of lefty unjustified dogma is to legal prescriptions on the basis of some science or economic “data”, real or imagined. The basis of law is always and everywhere moral philosophy, not numbers. Only a lefty resorts to using data points to justify an “ought” and that’s precisely because if they engaged with moral reasoning they’d be exposed as the evil minions they are. Guys like this will never tell you why it’s the morally justifiable thing to do to distribute wealth, only how it will for some magical reason he can’t explain help the working class while it also at the same time skyrockets the price of everything.
