Russians have not shown any inclination to hold ground for nothing. Instead, they often are the ones to initiate a fighting retreat so that artillery can start firing on their former positions (and the ukrops now occupying them).All that to say that such small changes like what you describe are irrelevant in isolation. Now if Russia was somehow losing village after village over the period of weeks then that would be something real to talk about.
