It's a testament to the human diversity in thought and personality. People want what they dont have and are bored or dislike the things the have. Societies fluctuate from order/oppression to freedom/chaos all the time.I believe it my duty to be adaptable rather then to wish for the world to go by my values.

I would only allow married couples with children to vote though because they have a stake in the future of our children and the family unit, so their votes make political outcomes converge favorably towards those issues, which are the pillars of a healthy society. I'm an agnostic that believe in God as the ultimate answer to "and then what?" and as the final end of infinite regression, but I think such a God is so abstract that our human minds can't comprehend it, we can only sense the presence of God downstream from its creation and expressed through our biological sensations and imperatives. And whatever will it has, we are living that will as its creations. I still believe in a core of theocratic elements/influences though. We need a strong, politically engaged religious community as the backbone of a foundational ethical system, in order to wrangle the tards and midwits into some type of common moral framework. And I believe this ethical system is downstream from the family unit, an order that has evolved to keep our communities and families and by extension our children safe from our savage natures. So in that sense this religious God ties back in with my God and follows its will. To fix declining birthrates and atomized family units I would create a mommy system similar to the universal state pension systems in European wellfare countries, where the government places a certain amount of cash for every girl born in a fund. This is then used to pay the mother for loss of income and pay her a healthy salary during the children's first years. I would also regulate colleges and businesses so that they were set up to accept older women to allow them to have a career later in life, so they didn't waste their most fertile years on useless stuff. It's a bit too complex to describe in a single post, but those are the basics.
