I'm assuming he's talking about the Arab Spring, which was an unmitigated disaster for pretty much every country it took place in except for maybe Tunisia.
>>
>>537257450
There's Syria
Can't think of the other 4 though
>>
>>537257452
Correct. The retard idiolizing it probably thinks it's a socialist uprising for le freedumbs like a capeshit novella but they were mostly subverted by the islamists and became revolts to set up theocratic military dictatorship instead of our boring secular military dictatorships, a lot like current Syria. It'll probably flare up again in a couple years which is a shame because Egypt will probably be the first to implode.
>>
>>537257452
Every single one of them is now a dictatorship again. All of that shit happened for no reason or benefit to anyone other than the new gen dictators who got to replace the old ones.
>>
>>537257455
It was never about abolishing dictatorships. Western spectators who saw marching signs in opposition to military dictators thought the upheaval was about secular freedom but it was about getting the Sharia back. Your fault for not actually asking the protestors what they wanted.

>Egypt will probably be the first to implode.
That will unironically be Syria war on steroids, how's the situation now in Egypt?
>>
>>537257457
It won't be like Syria because Egypt has always been extremely centralized and there isn't much room for a civil war in the valley. If Euros don't accept millions of refugees then millions will literally die from starvation though because our demographics are FUCKED.
>how's the situation now in Egypt?
Grim. Decade-long economic crisis with 0 breaks for any sub99% richfag, absurd demographics that the entire country genuinely cannot feed (the country's size without the deserts is like Albania but we have 110M people), religious extremism rife among all levels of society except for top1% richfags all being actively egged on by Gulfjeets and Turdroaches, and 2 active civil wars on our massive and unpolicable borders which mean very easy mass smuggling of weapons and explosives for an uprising/genocides.

Anyone with 2 brain cells or any money has either already fled or is actively planning to flee. Our dictator thinks building a capital in the desert and hunkering down while the cunt burns will save him but it won't when the entire country erupts into flames. EU, US, and IMF billions are keeping the lights on for now but they can't stop the inevitable collapse.

GG i guess, we had a decent run as a modern country under socialism but now it's time to become Syria.
