How does /pol/ answer the KQ? To preface, they are gypsies that migrated to the middle east in the middle ages, although they claim to be the indigenous descendants of basically every ancient Mesopotamian and Anatolian and Iranian civilization and brainwash their children to believe as much. Everyone around them hates them and they hate everyone around them. They betray everyone they interact with. They’ve also never had a writing system and still have not developed writing in any standard way, exacerbating the difficulties of dealing with them. Religiously, they are Muslim and have Arabic or Iranicized/Turkicizes Arabic names, but in practice they are mostly atheist.

>they are gypsies that migrated to the middle eastSo the gypsies came from India to Europe, then, later on, some of them migrated backwards into the M.E.? Or are these the ones that dropped off the caravans on the original trek from India and have been there ever since?
>>537276044yeah they do a lot of honor killings
>>537275972No one “deserves” a nation. If Kurds have a nation the Roma should also in every European country they reside in.>>537275986How are they an obstacle? They’re literally one of Israel’s best playing cards in their plan for greater israel. >>537276256No one really knows, because no one has bothered to look into it into any great detail and they’ve mostly let the Kurds tell the stories themselves. The most popular Kurdish story is that they were the Medes, a little-known and short-lived Iranian kingdom that allied with Babylon and the Scythians to overthrow the Assyrian empire. However, this is based on a very shoddy foundation by some Russian archaeologist in the early 20th century. They sort of just took the story and ran with it. I say the reality is no one knows, because the Medians never wrote anything down, nor did they leave any artifacts. They are briefly mentioned by Herodotus and other Assyrian/Babylonian/Achaemenid accounts. However, if the claim were true, there would be some evidence such as linguistic remnants from the ancient median language or genetics. As I said previously, there are no known inscriptions by the Medians, but several loan words from the Median language have been identified, and they are not found in the Kurdish languages. Instead, they are found in Farsi. That essentially puts a rest to any claim of Median descent, at least as a unique claim of descent any more than other Iranian ethnic groups. I call them gypsies not necessarily because they migrated from India, although they very well might have, but because no one, including themselves, know where they came from. We only know that they are broadly an Iranian ethnic group.
>>537275850How does an independent Kurdistan benefit the European race?
>>537277866Because they are majority Sunni Muslim and are right in the middle of "Greater Israel's" territorial claim? How is that even a question
