Someone redpill me on why the world is so heavily focused on religion as justification or denouncement of morality? Shouldn't morality arise from logic? It's logical to build a community, ensure the safety of your people and kin, and build trust and harmony and so on.Why do so many people need to force the backing of religion to justify ethics rather than teach ethics itself first and allow a natural development of personal religion later? Why do so many religions rely so heavily on indoctrination and attacking other religions?
