Yeah the whole thing was fucked. The biggest mistake was evacuating from Kabul and not bhagram. But given the way Trump has handled the Iran war, I believe he laid the groundwork for that debacle a lot more than I did before. Didn't he release thousands of Taliban fighters right before he left office too?
