In reality there is like about a thousand or so actual danes in Greenland, with the rest of the 50k total population (as in greenland has less peoples total than your average western municipality) being inuit natives spread all over. In fact I recall reading about how the natives were pissed that the danish gov spoke in their name without asking them what they thought of it.
