I repainted an aluminum fountain that sits outside of my house after spending days stripping and brushing off all the old paint on it that hadn't been repainted in over 2 decades. Anyways, I used a good high quality exterior enamel paint primer then paint and let it dry for over 2 weeks to fully cure as much as possible before putting water back in the fountain. It lasted about a month before the paint started to bubble off the surface and while it hasn't stripped completely yet, the surface is all warped and to describe it it's like what happens to your fingers when you sit your hand in water for a while, like that kind of texture all over the bowls of the fountain. Can't even imagine how retarded it was to paint an entire thing of concrete that is heated up by the sun all summer long and think the paint is going to last. Concrete expands and contracts just like anything else when it heats / cools, that paint was never going to last on that large of a surface area. What a waste of money
