They don't have supermarkets in America? Do Americans really?
>>
>>537340253
>Do Americans really have a place where you can buy almost any ingredient used all over the world, fresh daily?
Yeah. We're pretty awesome over here
>>
>>537340253
We have to buy our food from the back of vans

Fact check; True.

Aldi is already prevalent in the US. I have six within 20 minutes of me.
>>
>>537340181
Crazy how removing most of the poison from your food and then selling it for half the price is a highly effective strategy.
>>
>>537340181
Good, even if the price-scalping big grocery chains went bankrupt it would be less than what their executives deserved. They are among the scum of the earth.

>seething hatred for the big food retailers
must be a west coast thing. never heard anyone around here express an opinion one way or the other.

We have Fred Myer, Home Depot, Costco, and Sportsman Wearhouse. What more do you need?
>>
I do.
Tesco, asda (walmart) suck.
Also i’ll batter the security guards at tesco eventually.
They are always harassing people.
I was coming out at 11:30 pm last Saturday with a bag of munchies, dressed up i’d been to a comedy show, a little drunk. A sweating slavic midget trolly guard tier security loser was coming back into the shop - dunno why he’d been outside -
>excuse me did you pay for that?
he said. I was flabberghasted.
>of course i paid for it.
Looking at him like i’d just stepped on the wee turd.
I should have said
>no. I’m stealing.
Because what the fuck are you going to do?
Its such a sad fate to end up as s shelf monkey. Occasionally cute young girls who get themselves doomed to supermarkets smile at me. I think
>wow, how easy would that be?
But i never did anything about that either.
So. Yes. Some supermarkets are the armpit of hell.

Our "local" "family owned" chain is so fucking expensive and half the store is frozen pizza or soda. A town of 20k people and its a food desert
>>
>>537340181
Huh. Sysco raises prices 400% destroying small and middle class restaurants across the west, and now all restaurants simply put premade slop in an oven while extorting customers.

>you have a seething hatred for supply chains goy
>>
>>537341607
At least Sysco got their line to go up. That's all that matters.
>>
>>537341400
Cool, I've seen Revolver and that Derren Brown show too.
>nigger cuckold shit

Of course.

Mamdami types have been pointing the finger at 'price gouging' grocery stores for why prices are really high. He's using it as his reasoning for government-run grocery stores.

Most of his constituents are either super rich and only shop at fancy grocers like Fairway, and just nod along about price gouging, or are poor shitskins and illegals who get most of their groceries from EBT

people hate walmart and dollar general and similar stores but I've never seen anyone care that much (positively or negatively) about Safeway, Kroger, Costco, etc
In many ways these stores are still very old school, they have slim margins and don't use a lot of digital trickery while still offering a wide range of products, including specialized meat/deli, bakery, floral, etc departments

>A town of 20k people and its a food desert
Woah why is that? 20k isn't miniscule.

Beer here starts at ~40c for the cheep swill to 1 euro for the decent stuff

the last time I saw a vending machine was like 2004
>>
>>537340181
Great, now they are going to fill it with the same goyslop every other grocery store in America has.
Well, I guess that is the end of Aldi.

The food aldi's sells is genuinely slop.
>>
>>537340181
Aldi does well because it's cheap. This isn't complicated.
>>
>>537340181
Most Americans are too poor to shop at the big grocery store chains nowadays. Nobody has money
>>
>>537342807
Look harder.
>>
>>537342936
Harder where? They usually only have 1 or 2 brands for everything
