>if Iran makes a nuclear deal, they get sanctions relief, unfreezing of their own money, and allowed to get foreign investment
...why exactly am I supposed to be mad about this? it seems like a fair quid pro quo. I'm supposed to be mad because drumpf? the only people seething about this are israelis, zionists, neocons, neolibs, and their useful idiots lmfao

oh, AND Israel is not isolated? I'm supposed to be seething though LMFAO. based Vance for getting it done.
>>
Why was any of this necessary though? Trump bombed Iran's nuclear site last year with the bunker busters remember? Now he's saying the nuclear material is unrecoverable and buried so deep it doesn't matter...but it was already like that before the war. So what was the purpose of any of this? In the beginning it was about helping the Iranian people remember?
>>
It's a great deal and the Iranian people deserve some respite from the conditions they've been living in.
In the book "transitions from authoritarian regimes" they make it pretty clear that growing a middle class is what ends these types of regimes not sanctions which just make the govt there stronger.
>>
>>537352131
That's basically what Vance said today. His argument was "we've tried this way and it doesn't work, so why don't we give a chance for them to behave and get rewarded for it?"

>drumpf
ok

Notice how you're incapable of answering the question due to brown iq?

You're pretending not to understand, why would I play along? It makes discourse irrelevant.

This is submission, it's better for Iran than the jcpoa was. We could have arrived here without zion don tearing that up and going to war for Israel in the first place

You're supposed to be mad because he broke ~5 repeated campaign promises to get to this point.

Thats obamas deal tho? I agree, it was a good deal

>>537352889
He bombed Iran for like a month to get a nuclear deal, which he said we would get. We're resetting our relations with Iran just like we did with Venezuela. I think we could've done it without the war, but it was the path he decided on to achieve the result. Exchanging a nuclear deal for sanctions relief (which allows investment) and unfrozen assets was always on the table.
>>
>>537352999
the nuclear deal hasn't happened retard. the memorandum is just an extension of the ceasefire to set up the nuclear deal talks which, unsurprisingly, Israel is subverting

lol Iran has like 50% unemployment, and are a huge country of over 90 million people. they don't need immigrants. plus I don't think that's something this Iranian government would do.
>>
>>537351898
I mean if you're not an israkike it's not a bad deal outside of trump basically admitting he can't beat them, I ain't mad about the deal itself and if it means the kikes in israel are mad i'm pretty happy.

we bombed them for like a month lmfao, trump (rightfully) never even tried to launch a full scale war with a ground invasion. THAT would've been a true disaster.
but yes lol, all the right people are mad.

>we bombed them for like a month lmfao, trump (rightfully) never even tried to launch a full scale war with a ground invasion. THAT would've been a true disaster.
Yeah for a minute there I was afraid he would be stupid enough to commit boots on the ground, still not convinced that the downed pilot wasn't a failed Kegseth plan to do just that.
I knew he'd get bored and that's why boots on the ground worried me, that sort of conflict is lengthy, fraught and takes real guts from the president, trump just doesn't have that in him.
>>
>>537352204
Retard.
>>
>>537353867
>still not convinced that the downed pilot wasn't a failed Kegseth plan to do just that.
the big reason I don't believe that theory is that Iran never found the downed pilot and confirmed they were in firefights to retrieve him. this entire thing changes if Trump got bogged down in a ground war holy shit LMFAO.

it's a civilization level game of Texas Hold'em

>Pre-Flop = JCPOA intact
America was in better position with massive chip lead pre-flop and bleeding them with blind bets
>Flop & Raise with 2&7 off-suit = Trump 1 ending JCPOA
setting up for a fight to clean them out
>Turn & Check-Raise = Trump 2 June-2025 12-Day War
doubles down on the bluff, but hoping the pressure will cause an Iranian fold
>River & All-In = Trump 2 March-2026 War til present
Cornered-Iran called America's and Israel's bluff and doubled it's value (300 Billion is 1 year of Iranian GDP)
>>
>>537351898
Well, we had a nuclear deal with Iran until Trump trashed it and said he'd replace it with something much better during his first term. Then he did nothing. Then he got dragged into a war with Iran by Israel. Then he realized he couldn't win a war with Iran without a ground invasion that wasn't guaranteed to succeed, would cost tens of thousands of American lives, and would potentially trigger WW3. Then he sucked Iran's dick to end the war. So we're kinda back to square one except Iran now needs to be paid vastly more than before for us to get oversight of their nuclear operations and we've also just demonstrated to the world that American dominance is well and truly over.
You shouldn't be mad about the war ending. You should be mad about the entire timeline of retarded shit Tump did on the Iran topic.
>>
>>537354261
The JCPOA would've expired last year, and in a new deal there would've been sanctions relief and unfreezing of assets. Now we have leverage in the negotiations which are if you don't comply we'll bomb the shit out of you and blockade you again.

The cope in this thread is insane. Billions of dollars spent, international image tarnished massively, stockpiles of strategic weaponry decimated, expensive air assets lost, global trust driven even harder into the dirt than it was already, especially amongst gulf nations, and Trump himself looks weak and incompetent. All of that and more for less than nothing. If you think Iran is going to turn around and be buddy with the US because of this deal after the US has been their mortal enemy for years and showered their cities with bombs you're mentally retarded. The only way Trump could ever have avoided taking this L is for him to never start this retarded war to begin with and put Netanyahu on a leash from the get-go.
>>
>>537351898
So we have circled back to quid pro Joe territory.

>Why was any of this necessary though? Trump bombed Iran's nuclear site last year with the bunker busters remember?

It was necessary to open up the Strait of Hormuz though - without Trump's art of the deal it would still be closed.
