Should all citizens be entitled to one square meal a day at state run cafeterias?
>>537354912Yes?
>>537354912We have soup kitchens in Aus and Centrelink will give you money and grocery vouchers.
>>537354912Ypipo need some seasonin fr
>>537354912State supplied fortified oatmeal in 6 exciting flavours. Only the male head of house and first born son can collect it. Just like the grain allotment in Rome. And all true citizens receive it equally.
>>537354912in the west? it'd be more of a distribution issue, people who starve to death tend to have medical issues or are neglected. people with food insecurity may also have issues with actually getting to or finding time for those facilities, like senior citizens. so maybe it'd help, but i dunno if it'd reach the most vulnerable
>>537355322The state is generational wealth so it better.
>>537354912https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0kbkysPTnHcSocial media has primed an environment where this type of degeneracy is not only accepted, it thrives. Social media desensitizes and radicalizes even moderates into believing heinous and abhorrent behavior is acceptable under the correct context. Spend just 5 minutes on Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, you will find hordes of these deranged people. They exist among us. The FBI knows about them but never acts until it is far too late. Western society is on a one-way fast track to collapse as long as social media continues to destroy minds and decay the culture.
>>537355177does that mean i have to eat the corn n peas with my hands?
>>537354912They'd probably lace all the food with estrogen, fluoride and microplastics.
>>537354912if the government gave me everything fo free i would do nothing but write shitty programs and shitpost all day
we have the infrastructure. everyone lives within a mile of a school with a cafeteria. we can open them in the mornings for breakfast and the evenings for dinner
>>537354912Yes. I don't even necessarily think it should be free -- just very low cost. Keep the menu very basic so the costs are more controllable and the dishes are more repeatable.
>>537355905>Yes. I don't even necessarily think it should be free -- just very low cost.when i was in school the standard lunch was 1.50 to 3$ with no a la cart items
>>537354912minorities should receive $0 from the white taxpayer. if that means they starve then they starve.
>>537355743private food industry is doing that already to make more customers for the private health industry and theres no reason to believe your government would be more benevolent.
>>537355976Right, something like that. Though I don't like the typical frozen stuff a lot of schools did.Ideally you could just model it on what the Soviets did in their cafeterias -- though I am not sure if their cafeterias were like open to anyone, or they just had free ones or subsidized ones within state institutions and companies.
>>537354912Open school lunches to everyone in the area. Also, make breakfast and dinner and snacks available. We will probably need to increase the size of our school cafeteria systems to manage this. This means billions of dollars getting spent to increase public meal options. It's a form of redistribution of wealth. Also, this gives a big chance for many communityies to eat together, which could have a lot of positive effect on everyone.Sex offenders or other convicts who can't be around schools must go somewhere else. I suggest prison cafeterias or somewhere similar that can handle the unwelcome people. Maybe after some years of probation or non-offending, then they can eat with the rest of us.A lot of elderly or sick people simply can't get to breakfast/lunch/dinner on time. They're going to need either help with public transit (busses) or programs like Meals on Wheels can deliver their meals to them. Again, this is a kind of redistribution of wealth and may foster community in the form of careworkers getting to know the elderly, sick, or disabled who don't often leave home.Everything I described costs billions in taxes. Use a progressive tax system to make the rich pay more for it. These taxes will pay for agriculture, distribution, food workers, maybe expanding cafeteria sizes and so on. Also, there's a chance revenue for restaurants (both big corporate owned and small businesses) may lose revenue. Idk, I'm not an economist, but I'm guessing the numbers will pan out well
>>537356546First, we have to kill all shitskins, then this is fine>im finna shoot up da free food court nighaa
>>537354912NO!!!Feed yourself you useless fpos!
>>537355905go eat a hot dog and a large soda at the gas station
>>537355574>The state is generational wealthonly if theres a king whose family maintains it. otherwise politicians will steal it all for their own purposes
>>537356789Hah, funny. You will learn to eat with them just fine. I don't know if you attended big public schools, but they tended to have 2-3 lunch times with different grades or groups of people at them. You may eat with brown or black people, maybe even at the same table, or they may be further away on a different table. Perhaps they may have separate lunch times, simply to do with the sheer amount of people I'm describing, not so much separating races or whatever, but just naturally having 2-3 big groups of people split up for lunch (say 1st group at 11 am, 2nd group at 12 pm, and 3rd group at 1 pm) so we can handle so many people in 2-3 hours. That splitting up of lunch time may separate races in some communities if that's a serious thing people are interested in
