Will you be open to the idea (and Agree) a constitutional amendment designed to dictate the overall picture of the American Economy Till the Budget is Balanced and we start to chip away from the National Debt?? Examples. Any Program worth more than A Billion USD must be audited Yearly, any unaccounted expenditure Must be subtracted from the Next Year Budget. All Programs Worth more than a Billion USD will have its Budget reduced between 1%-5% Yearly till Budget is Balanced. No Legislation regarding the Economy will be attached to non Economic policy. (No longer holding the economy hostage to pass other laws) Increase Taxes Starting from the Top Brackets and Close up Loopholes Remove the Cap on Social Security ETC ETC ETC...We can no longer keep kicking down the Can of the National Debt.
Money isn't real. We all play pretend to prevent anarchy. Any argument to this is stacks of infantile make believe nonsense it becomes comical.
>>537372244then we need to start playing Make Believe BUDGET, cause sooner or later shit will hit the fan.
>>537372151>All Programs Worth more than a Billion USD will have its Budget reduced>Remove the Cap on Social SecurityYou do realize these are opposites, right?
>>537372779>You do realize these are opposites, right? The Cap that people PAY to Social Security.
>>537372901Exactly. By removing that cap people earning above it will have to pay more.
>>537373220Yes, Starting from the Top, We increase the money we pour into SS, That is one of things that you practically CANT trim down so will need to be paid more (or cull a significant amount of the elderly population)
>>537372151To get an overall picture of the American economy you would have to first audit the DoD (DoW).Anyone who attempts to do so has their entire family killed
>>537372151No. printing money is good for the ecnomy, it trickles down anyway via the stock market and home prices
>>537374279Okay but that's the opposite of reducing its budget, that's increasing it.And BTW it's a classic Ponzi scheme anyway, it'll go bankrupt eventually no matter what you do to delay it. I suggest that we just let it go. That's arguably unfair to beneficiaries but to perpetuate it is crazy.
