I'm curious. India is smack dab between the Middle East and Asia and, historically, both of these regions have had huge wars for thousands of years that have directly sculpted the borders and cultures of their respective countries.Based on India's culture, the fact they haven't been conquered and assimilated by Muslims or the Chinese, I imagine they somehow dodged conflict on both fronts. I know they were ruled by the English for some amount of time.
