Po-po tried to play the evidence card ("new technology") to get a confession from the killer, but he didn't crack, although it was close. In the end, there is no physical evidence so it's an impossible case to close at this point. If we had competent cops, it would've been filed away in the first week. It's a very lame "mystery" that only brainlets and children think is not solved.
