The obvious reaction to the October humiliation was to invade gaza, but slugging it out either with bombs or a land invasion was exactly what bibi feared would completely ruin his reputation not internationally but amongst his fellow zionists. And after assad got rolled over iran couldn't just sit on its ass. The logical step, was to just fucking de-escalate. Give some symbolic concession to iran for virtually annexing gaza and then make some vague excuse about it being a victory to israeli zionists. I don't know what 99% of gamblers mental illness drove netanyahu to grab trump by the testicles and order him to overthrow the ayatollahs, but somehow he was infected with the suicidal idea of pouring his entire legion of shabbos to hold iran permanently and have a world war mena around him. Maybe he just wants his fellow jews to die in some sort of religious endsieg where everyone ditches america as a partner to completely suck off its tit and he explodes his own country with nukes when they leave. I don't know what the plan here is, there seems to be none.
