Just got back from my first ever trip to Central Europe and I struggle to actually see any meaningful cultural differences between these three countries. They dress the same, speak variations of what is essentially the same language, eat essentially the same food, largely have the same traditions. Why isn’t this area all just “Poland”?
>>537419902divide and conquer
>>537419902didn't even need to open the thread to know this was made by an amerimutt
>>537419902>central europeyou learned alot there i see
i had the same sense after I visited the US and Mexico
Why aren't USA and Mexico the same country then? Both are different variations of the same Mutt people.
my bad, sorry
>>537419902>american>low iq>pretends he traveled to Europe>makes stupid comment on 4channigga Czechia,Slovakia and Poland are like Germany,Switzerland and Denmark. They speak different languages, they look different, they have different currencie, the demographis are different, the infrasturctre is different, the supermarkets are different, the mentality is different and so on and on
>>537419902What’s the difference between Ohio and Kentucky? Remember, every governor is ahead of state. The European Union isn’t much different from the United States. Each state uses to use its own money.
>>537420217It really isn’t though. Czechia and Slovakia especially felt like exactly the same country. Al least Poland uses a silly version of the alphabet.
>>537420257*a head of state* used to use its own moneyPhone posting
>>537419902Czechia is nicePoland is India of EuropeSlovakia is a hidden gemThey are not the same
>>537420217>They speak different languages, they understand each other>they look different, NOPE>they have different currencie, tyes, but trade in euroshe demographis are different, so?>the infrasturctre is different, not really>the supermarkets are different, oy gevalt!>the mentality is different and so on and onNOPE!and lastly, Dennis go home!
>>537420217Chechia and Slovakia are literally the same. They are just two different countries because the presidents of chechia and slovakia could not decide who will be the boss.
>>537420404True about Slovakia. Went on some incredible hikes in the Tatras there and the cuisine was surprisingly great, but it really just felt like a slightly more rural version of the Czech Republic and their languages are completely indistinguishable to me.
>>537419902Because they only just recently expelled all ze Germans from Bohemia and the Poles that moved there enjoy pretending to be ze Germans too much.
>>537419902You can say it's true about Czechia and Slovakia, since they were literally Czechoslovakia because they both were pretty much the same, but not about Poland we're different. The food is different too to some extent.
>>537420417A Czech and a Slovak won't understand a Pole. They vaguely related. You also fail to consider that the Czech Republic past like Jihlava is a 3rd world shithole. And that 3rd world continues into Slovakia. Maybe like Bratislava excluded. But 90% of Slovakia is just a wasteland. And nowadays, a lot of the population doesn't want to be associated with Slovakia. Not with their current political leadership.
>>537422634Written Czech is surprisingly difficult to understand without a proper preparation. I've tried to read "Valka s Mloky" in the oroginal (it's hilarious like everything by Capek), but even basic words were often quite different.
>>537422634This is true. Chechs from Prague are very progressive, almost like germans. Slovaks are must be more conservative.
>>537419902language you fucking tranny
>>537419902Chechia is just the worst version of Germany, and Poland is a better version of Ukraine.
Imagine Poland is Germanythen Czech Republic is the Netherlandsand Slovakia is Austria but Dutch speaking
>>537424140Kill yourself, retard.
>>537422634I visited Prague and Brno in Czechia, and Bratislava, Trenčin, the Tatras, and Košice and they were all nice experiences honestly. Definitely didn’t feel third world like Southeast Asia and South America did.
>>537419902>speak variations of what is essentially the same languagethat's exactly whyin an ideal world all the states would be independent too, or at least the US would be split into regions, since we're divided among different dialects of english
>>537420043that is East Central Europe, geographically speaking>>537419902Why don't the 50 states just give up all of their authority and form a competely centralized entity? There's all just Americans anyway, they dress the same, speak the same language, eat essentially the same goyslop?
>>537420404if we consider the contrast between the big city and how backwards the rest of the country is economically and in mentality, Russia is the India of EuropeIf we consider the amount of gypsies and trash and shit, probably some Balkans country
>>537420404yeah, no you regarded kacap. >Hop on a train in Warszawa Centralna>Get off in Bratislava Hlavna Stanicaunironically feels like you travelled back in time by 30 years and not in a fun way.
>>537425772>There's all just Americans anyway, they dress the same, speak the same language, eat essentially the same goyslop?Only on TV, kid.
>>537426222God damn son, that's deep wisdom right there
