I think a lot of younger people just lack that switch many of us have. When I get into a confrontation I have a brief moment where I think of cowering and then reflexively ignore it and yell back. I think a lot of younger men just never developed that reflex and go the route of looking small and pathetic to not get hurt. Unironically low T counts probably.
