The "least evil" offenders get either a carfentanyl overdose or the gas chamber with an inert gas like nitrogen/helium etc, which is completely painless, you're unconscious in 1-2 breaths and dead in 5-10 minutes with absolutely zero warning because you don't even feel it happening. Adult men who kill adult men for personal reasons, give them the rope or firing squad. For child rapists/murderers, give them the Robert-François Damiens treatment or just crucify them or something. You get the idea.
