Hitler redefined Socialism to mean exactly what it implies - to be and act socially - to be a net-positive to the national community through your work and labour. NS Germany was a mixed economy. Lots of private businesses, but also lots of government owned businesses. No interest-bearing debt, which lead to almost no national debt, which lead to monetary abundance for the overwhelming majority of Germans. Low rents, low prices for goods and services and extremely high worker satisfaction rates. It worked. Everyone was happy, which is the fulfilment of genuine Socialism. Nobody was just ‘handed free shit’.
