Children working hard labor at 5 years old.I visited and saw kids gathering up plastic garbage, making a pile, and lighting it on fire. They used that fire to heat a pan and cook some bread. It was a level of poverty I've never imagined, and it was happening right in city centers every evening. I don't think even African countries would tolerate such open poverty. Even the most corrupt governments would step in and do something for a child cooking over garbage.
