A woman in Wakefield could face a fine up to £20,000 if she doesn't remove a gorilla statue from the front of her house.

Caeser, a four foot plastic gorilla, is perched on a plinth outside a terraced home on Lee Moor Lane, in Stanley.

The homeowner, Adele Teale, is now caught in the middle of a legal row after someone alerted the council.

She said the figure is harmless, and is a popular feature with locals.

"I just like it it's different no one else has got one up on the wall have they. I like a bit of quirky. There's nowt else I can say.

"He's not harming anyone, he's plastic, he's just a plastic gorilla... people need to get a life," she added.

She's been ordered to remove her plastic pet by June 9 or face a hefty fine.
"Look I don't want to go to court I don't want to go to magistrates I don't want to go to crown court because this is what they're saying and it's going to cost around twenty thousand pounds which is absolutely ridiculous over a plastic monkey at the end of the day but I will find a better spot for it in my garden."

If that woman kept it up, then shot whoever came in to remove it with a bow & arrow (legal in the UK), they would stop removing gorilla statues.

I hope the history books record just how disgusting the UK police is for posterity
>>
she should've said the local pakistanis use it as a landmark when they orchestrate their rape abductions. then the same cops would be there is a heartbeat to permanently enshrine it

i dont get it: the house is literally called the gorilla house. that means it gets to have a gorilla statue. it's not like it's a pussy jellyfish effigy

Similar laws exist here. You're not allowed to freely design the front of your house if it disrupts the overall look of the place too severerly.

Americans have HOA laws that are far more draconian than out local government laws. You've given up everything just so you don't have to live with niggers.
