China won and the rest of the world too by extension. A victory for China is a victory for all people. Even Americans that detest China now will eventually come to the realization that a China-dominated world is much better for an average American than a Western-controlled one.

It’s a self-destructive cult that would do anything in its power to prevent itself from slipping into irrelevancy. It would be ready to destroy itself and everything around it just not to admit it is no longer a net benefit to the world. Which is why instead of letting new ideas take global lead, it will do everything in its power to preserve the current order even if its no longer practical. But this religious clinging to the outdated destructive ideas and their enforcement against their own host are impossible to sustain in the long run. Like a shot of steroids, they give only a temporal boost, while undermining the body in the mid to long term. And although many Americans would argue against China's changing role in the world, they are merely doing this out of habitual patriotism to the system that is trying to eat them now. They would actually likely benefit should the global leadership change hands. Among all other contenders China seems to be the most fair and benevolent power. They will likely even forgive Japan and Britain for what they had done eventually too.
