Green algae is pretty easy to get rid of but you have to balance the PH then use an ass load of chlorine to work through the entire filter system for a week or 2. Black algae on the other hand you have to have a pretty low PH for weeks to get rid of it. Its obvious someone didn't do their research and pumped a bunch of basic water in and didn't clean the filter system. Id have that bitch cleaned out in a week. Crystal blue.
