But they are banning cigarettes, you can't smoke a cigarette anywhere anymore, in some countries they have banned cigarettes entirely and no new child born after like 2008 or something is legally allowed to buy them no matter how old they get.

Gambling on the other hand only seems to be growing each year, especially sports and political gambling which is an enormous business these days and seemingly totally unregulated and full of insider trading where less than 20% of the winners take home more than 93% of the profits, where multi-million dollar bets are placed minutes before Trump makes a post about that bet.

It's absolute insane clown world shit and is probably one of the most blatant examples of rampant corruption the world has ever seen.

Gambling is fun when it's done with realistic limits and you think of it as a night out that's going to cost money.

I'll set like a $300 limit iincluding dinner and drinks and play $15-$20 hands at the blackjack or bac table or run $20 through 5 different slots. Table games are the the most fun though, especially when you're on a hot streak with other players. Sitting there in the casino atmosphere with a beer and making small talk is a lot of fun

Sometimes I make out big and leave up, sometimes I lose it all. I did recently hit a minor bonus on a $2 huff and puff spin that paid me out $1k, which is my biggest overall win. Overall, I'm probably around even.

A lot of high limits and chasing loses you can't afford is fucked though.

It's worse than ever before.
See, in past decades, if you wanted to gamble, you had to travel. You had to actually go to a physical location, usually in another state that has legal gambling in order to actually use these machines and spend money gambling. Vegas or native American casinos, etc.

Ever since NJ legalized sports betting in 2011, it has opened the floodgates. After that state after state started legalizing sports betting and it just went out of control and is basically legal everywhere now, especially after the supreme court decision in 2018 Murphy v. NCAA.

Well, now gambling is everywhere. Polymarket, Kalshi, Predictit, Draft Kings, BetMGM, Fanduel, Prizepicks... there's so fucking many of these companies now and they are all making INSANE amounts of money in this space. Billions upon billions of dollars in profit. The entire industry is growing every single year with how pervasive this is, it's over $100 billion now, it will be well over $200+ billion by the 2030s.

It was moving gambling to the phone that did this. You can sit on your ass at home and make bets on your phone, they have turned what was once seen as a crippling addiction that needs to be addressed with therapy and self control into just another facet of life, it's completely normalized that people can just lose money gambling on these stupid apps all day betting ridiculous predictions or making ridiculous parlay bets on how many strikes or balls a pitcher will throw in an inning or how many turnovers a team will have in a quarter, it's just insanely manipulative shit that shouldn't be legal honestly.

How many people's lives are being destroyed by this shit now, losing god knows how much money to this garbage? At least when it was confined to the casino you could help control the gamblers disease by forcing them to physically travel somewhere in order to relapse. Now they can just pull out their phone and do it with a few taps on their screen.

It is the same concept, in the sense that is gambling, smoking, or alcohol were illegal, it would still be done, but much more dangerously. Recognizing this with the prohibition mistake is why most state governments would rather have it [strictly regulated] than outright prohibited.

With legalizing weed though, the problem is that the underground market just exploded and nobody wants to buy weed store prices when they can get it much cheaper form Tyrone's backpack.

because this isn't the middle east and we aren't a bunch of desert nomads trying to please deities.
I agree that gambling is a societal cancer, but it is a very slippery slope between policing society for the good of the community and tyranny. Especially when it's about people's freedoms. Some people are destined to go to the poor house by virtue of their own stupid decisions, we must allow them to do this. Same with addicts, criminals, and europeans.

They must be allowed to hit rock bottom. If not to redeem themselves, than to simply give society a clear example of what degeneracy leads to.

They are much more fair but if you win big on blackjack the casino can always claim you were counting cards and refuse to cash out your chips. I’ve lived in Vegas a long time so I’ve seen the casinos do all kinds of shady stuff not to pay out. Like this old lady won a jackpot on a slot machine and they claimed it was a machine malfunction. There’s also a lot of new table games with really bad odds and even roulette(which out of the classic games used to have the worst odds) now has a 000 slot making the odds even worse. Any of the new games are horrible though like crapless craps, sic bo, wheel of fortune there’s a ton of them. But yeah slot machines even have the worst printed odds.

My view on gambling is you are either destined to win the jackpot, or you're not. If you are, fate will drag you kicking and screaming your ass into gambling that one time to win even if you come up with every excuse to your friends or coworkers for you NOT to spend money gambling. I've seen it happen, people winning the lottery despite trying their damnest to avoid playing it in the first place, only for a friend, a family member or a coworker to force the person into buying a winning ticket. Since I know I'm not destined to win, that's why I don't even spend $1 into a slot machine. I've never even won a raffle in my life, even those at elementary school for winning toys.

There is a play to earn crypto game.
In that game there are some users who run online casinos themselves (the names).
Then one day the game had "here, see your stats" (what you have done in the game).
The stats were viewable for other players.
Know what was recognizable with these
accounts (who run online casinos themselves),
they extremely avoided to use loot boxes.
So what does that tell you if the ones who run online casinos themselves
extremely don't use loot boxes on the online casino of someone else????

It hasn’t been banned because we live in a nation run by talmudic kikes. That’s the simplest answer. The actual solution to the problem is for the idiot masses to learn basic probability, obey God’s laws, and stop fucking gambling. If the masses would stop sinning, many revenue streams flowing to the kikes would dry up. Kikes run almost every single vice in the US from top to bottom. A nation gets the kikes it deserves, and Americans are most deserving of being fleeced by those parasites so long as they continue to love their sins.

20k is more than enough for a week-long vacation in a beautiful place, staying somewhere nice, eating amazing food, trying new experiences, and making memories you'll actually keep for the rest of your life.

Instead, goyim throw that money at gambling for a microscopic chance of winning more money when the odds are overwhelmingly against them, and most will walk away with nothing to show for it except being cucked.
