In the US you can receive a civil order of protection/ of restraint that has a clause for domestic violence and it destroys the persons life like they were convicted of domestic violence. Most cases only need texts or some barebones evidence and even if it’s fabricated it will still pass in favor of the woman unless you have a lawyer to engage in a long process of fighting it for you.
