They have to shit in front of everybody even other male inmates. Sometimes they're moved and put in individual cells, but often they don't have toilets. They were given plastic bags to shit in. Some women freaked out and started pounding on the doors and screaming that they didn't want to use that but they were basically forced to anyway. The guards didn't come change the bags so they had to repeat use a plastic shit bag that stunk up the cell. They also have to eat food with maggots in it, and some refused to eat because they couldn't stand it, the guards ended up forcedfeeding them.
