Humanity and especially the western world had this righteous idea of solving this world problems by rational means and philosophical approaches. That was a nice idea but that isn't how the world works. Some random guy fucking some random girl. Both do not at all in any way think in act rational. What is rational thinking? Taking into account you could probably get her pregnant and asking yourself how'd you deal with that, positive or negative. The ability to project a what now-you and future-you have in common? Something like that. Aufklärung. But the world shows this was or is more of an idea than something normal, mediocre humans live by or can live by. My thesis is that we have to accept this world of humans will never ever be ruled by rational deeds since rational thinking is more like a mutation than a default state someone can take. Most people are completely unable to even barely understand what rational thinking is. Therefore i postualate the end of rational thinking. From here on out we have to accept we are, as a species, inherently irrational with no possible fix in sight. I have no answers, I have questions. How do we live in a world that has utterly proven that humans can't act or think rationally in the big picture? What do we make of that?
