If you're facing against a country with a Vietnam like mindset and you don't even fucking know why you're there, you can take a guess as to how it will turn out. Then you also have a huge issue with lack of active duty soldiers and reservists. The U.S. would need probably 2,000,000 soldiers and they don't have that. All this silly stuff where they send in a few thousands to grab something is only to make Trump look good and declare victory.
