Why is genuine homophobia not taken seriously? the actual fear of homosexuals, lgbt, trans, etc.It's the only phobia i'm aware of that's socially acceptable to shame people over it. To treat people who experience poorly, to be insulted and demonized by it, down right cancelled or denied service, some even take pleasure in bothering or attacking people with it. It's as if the person can turn it off like a switch, or the excuse is the person is being stubborn, backwards, or whatever excuse gets used to hand wave any respectful treatment towards that person.The person or group in charge of classifying these things, they have to come up with a new name for it so people don't get in trouble over a phobia.
