A bit extreme, but what exactly is amoral about this? It's basically a "nobody is allowed to be rich" sort of thing. Not evil as far as I'm concerned, just a bit nutters.

We want to give everyone free healthcare and renew investment in public infrastructure. The free market and its crony offspring have proven to be very poor at that. The ultrarich are ultra rich primarily because the rest of us provide a substrate from which they can become incredibly wealthy -- that's the ones who weren't born into it, for the record, which many were. Even the "self-made" guys like Bezos and Elon had massive head starts from family capital. Point being, fuck you, pay up. Everyone deserves a basic standard of comfort. Everyone. I see no reason why society should allocate massive wealth to a very few while others have to suffer needlessly.
