Conservatives conserve last year's liberalism. When every 4-8 years the status quo is inherited by liberal cosmopolitans, they (often through excessive overreach) modify the status quo to meet their ideological demands. Then, when 4-8 years after this a conservative is returned to power, the goalpost has shifted and the conservative adjusts to the modified status quo, assuming the position of something that was anathema to conservatives 8-16 years prior. Conservatives conserve homosexuality in Botswana.

The problem with conservatism is that too many people are utter cowards that are too afraid of the full weight of the Jewish system and their progressive stooges that do it for free in order to prove they are part of the latest thing.
