How do we tackle the modern opioid epidemic and the dealers?
How was picrel worst than (((modern medicine)))?
>>537686671Execution of the dealers and big pharma owners. In summary: It will never be tackled.
>>537686671Dealers could be dealt with just by allowing the sale of opiate medications without a prescription. That restriction among some others is what enables the black market.
>>537686983Ever seen streets where they have made all drugs legal or decriminalization? Think again. Socialist hellholes with junkies dependent on the state. Nice try tho leftoid.
>>537686757>In summary: It will never be tackled.Yeah. What are some things we can do in our power? Maybe won't solve the whole society, but if mom or someone is on a lot of prescriptions and everyone thinks you're crazy for raw-dogging your problems instead of going to some psych or doctor to prescribe you a lot of shit?>>537686983My problem is with the (((white))) market. Who gives a fuck about junkies fucking themselves over? I hate that society makes it expected that you are on one or several drugs to be considered normal. I'm not on them, but most people around me are.
>>537687339Decriminalization is the WORST thing you can do. It still enables the black market and just removes most of the risk for dealers.Don't ever conflate that with legalization, it's extremely stupid.
>>537686671This "epidemic" exists because those in power find it profitable or suitable to their goals.
>>537686671if you want an actual answer, read this:policyimprovements.wordpress.com/drugs
>>537686671>find a fent zombie>ask if you can buy from his dealer>meet the dealer, pull your gun out, and start cutting his fingers off until he agrees to set you up with his supplier>meet the supplier, pull your gun out, and start cutting his fingers off until he agrees to set you up with his supplier>repeat until israel is depopulated
>>537686671Death Penalty for dealers and producers.
>>537686671Ban narcan & let them od + offer free rehab to work programs for those that want itfull legalization and control would make most sense, its practically defacto legal here and people are all sorts of fucked up - at least controlled and regulated will prevent the scourge-type situations >>537686757this the business is too big, you'd need some task force that isn't in on the take and even then the temptation of corruption is too great
>>537687454You are a degenerate addict.
>>537687702I'm neither. This is just common sense. With decriminalization the laws which allow an illicit dealer's business to be profitable are still enforced, but the laws that make his business a risky one aren't enforced. So you see he's the only one who benefits. The situation is exactly the same as before except that now he has less to worry about.Actual legalization would mean he'd lose control over the supply of his product.
>>537686671Idk I abuse psychedelics
>>537687565Sad. Fuck them.>>537687573Thanks, will read.>>537687589>dealer is a doctor>supplier is big pharmaSome guys are still missing the point.
>>537686671I dont understand how people can get so many pill prescriptions, I had a back injury and asked for a pain killer and they gave me Ibuprofin, I was like WTF, give me some of the real pain killers and the doctor acted like I was some crackhead. Meanwhile some people are getting endless amounts of vicodins from their doctors with no problems at all.
>>537688576Pharmafag here I don’t get it either. I had an old dude whose strongest med was Tylenol arthritis get prescribed OxyContin 60mg, and he told us he wasn’t even in pain. Leftiod prescribing shit is kind of dumb, a methadone patient didn’t like methadone liquid so they gave her the equivalent in sustained release morphine which was like 26 tablets a day, guaranteed she sold them as soon as she got them. A lot of lazy/corrupt doctors is the problem.
