Suspending disbelief, if space aliens do in fact rock up to the club in the next ten thousand years with hat in hand and a bid to join the galactia alliance, that is a really bad sign and means that there is a near zero probability that our causality line will be the one that goes on to recreate the universe and that it's not a simulation, or if it is, then the nature of the simulation is isolation of evolution from conflict.
