Did you guys ever go to church? What it like? I low key want to try it but not in Israel, I would try it when I visit USA.

Go to a mass. Avoid megachurch "services". You can just sit in the back pews and observe if you like. Many churches have guide booklets about the mass so you can follow along if you're not familiar with the form. Catholic mass is probably the easy one to find in the US. Protestant denominations can be anything from being close to a mass to being clown shows.

It involves lots of praying, kneeling, sitting, singing, and listening to sermons. If you are a member, you participate in a shared communion service.

Yes, but since you are a zionist you might spontaniously combust upon entering

it varies depending on denomination
I grew up catholic and its very ritualistic like >>537698884
but my grandparents were baptist and it feels more free form with more song and "celebration"

Remarkably you weren't even able to express your opposition to Nostra aetate without indulging in the diabolical. Telling. I'm sure your take on Nostra aetate is also based on careful and considered analysis of it rather than the usual hearsay and distortions, not.

In no way is our religion (the way of Christ) founded on hating Jews. It wouldn't even make any sense for it to be based on such a thing. What we do is we pray for the Jews' conversion. Your religion "Jews Are Evil" is blatantly heretical and hardly different from Big Gay. After all, both belief systems are founded on a cardinal sin, wrath in one case and lust in the other, and united in another cardinal sin, pride.

i went to catholic church and sunday school. it was fine and wholesome.

catholic church you know what you're getting yourself into. 1 hour of pretty much the same routine every sunday. except for some holidays when it's longer iirc.

in protestant "churches" it's completely different and for the most part completely heretical.

I'm not a cityfag so the church I got dragged to every Sunday for an hour and a half as a kid was a small Baptist church. 200 members at most. Just a regular mainstream Southern Baptist church.
There were hymns for a while and then there was the preaching portion and another hymn or two to wrap it up.
This was in the 2000s btw.

They only did Communion on special occasions. It wasn't a weekly thing. Must be a Baptist thing.

You already have an exclusive back stage pass waiting in the afterlife.

You have high and low churches. High being those that practice liturgical worship as described by Saint Justin Martyr.
>Eastern Orthodox
>Catholics
>Old Catholics
>Anglican / Episcopalian
>Lutheran
Low being the average non-denominational mislabelled "Protestant" and generally pick a few moments of the Bible to really base their worship around rather than the liturgy. You'll see plenty of Hill music and a sermon based on selections from all over the Bible.
>New life church
>Evangelicals
>Baptists
>Pentecostals
>Prosperity Gospel

It is generally recommended you pick a high church to attend, Catholicism is the easiest as they are standardized in worship practice around the world. There is the Latin Mass in some areas, but it's simple whatever that day was conducted in Latin instead of the vernacular, and the priest faces a different direction. If you can find a historical Catholic church with the organs, you'll experience something beautiful every Mass.

Many churches film their services and can be watched online. Search the name of the church on YouTube or check out their website. I recommend watching an independent, Southern Baptist, or 9Marks church in a major metropolitan area.

Since you seem interested in Christianity, I recommend reading books by Stan Telchin, Jews for Jesus, The Moody Handbook of Messianic Prophecy, The New Kings of Israel: Critique of Rabbinic Judaism by Eitan Bar, and Justin Martyr’s Dialogue with Trypho.

I've thought about it but I wouldn't want to impose myself on someone else's community like that, I'm a pretty scummy guy and wouldn't like someone like me turning up if I was in their shoes. I'll stick to reading the bible and praying at home which is probably better for everyone.

Mainly go during Christmas but have gone other times. Mostly really old people. The priest is Indian and the Christmas mass was mostly about how Mary had a child without getting cream pied, this was emphasized multiple times. I thought it was a bit inappropriate since children and families were there, it was awkward.
