Most "art and beauty" throughout the Middle Ages was created by the Catholic Church, who were hardly "liberals", and I'm sure you can come up with 1,000 different comparable examples. The actual deciding factor is "who gets access to the funding and institutional support to develop and propagate their art" which is a function of who happens to be in power at a given time; since libs are in power, they gatekeep these by purity testing entrants to artistic industries, hence most of the art tends to be liberal. The same is true of the media and academia
