And the only way this complainint could have even made up or exagerrated this call is if Shaver was standing at the window with the rifle facing outward. Because there are other sightlines around him and even though he's their suspect, there may be another shooter down those. You arrest someone in a safe location, not a dangerous one. So they wanted him to move away from the side hallway, breaking that sightline. You can't go into this situation making assumptions that let your guard down.
