1: 6 out of the 9 justices are Originalists, and the Originalist argument is the strongest one in this case.
2: They could have chosen to not put the case on the docket. SCOTUS choosing to put the case on the docket and make a ruling on the merits of the case proves that there is interest in making a ruling on this.
3: ACBs house was raided by SWAT a few weeks ago, the only reasons a leftist terrorist would do something like that is if ACB was going to vote in the Trump Administrations favor.
4: The fact that they have waited until the very last day in the 2026 session proves that there is significant debate among the justices which means the strongest argument will prevail.
5: Out of spite for Ketanji Brown Jackson who humiliated the court by suggesting that if you steal a wallet in japan as a tourist that automatically makes you a Japanese Citizen.

Prediction: they'll end birthright citizenship but will rule that citizenship already granted, even if based on nothing but being on US soil, will not be revoked. Not sure what tortured argument they'll use, but in general the Court hates making retroactive impacts as large as this would be.

I think if the justices rule that an illegal immigrant can have citizen babies that will just be a stronger incentive to deport the ones that are here. So there's the silver lining I guess.
I don't think that any ruling in our favor would be retroactive. I don't think anyone seriously believes that either.
To be clear I don't think the justices are going to rule in our favor because of >>537748562

The only reason I think they might rule to end birthright citizenship for illegals is because Jumanji made such a famously bad argument they will want to distance themselves from it. I listened to that entire proceeding from beginning to end and when she started going on this bit about how if you rob someone in Japan, and get arrested, that kind of means you're like a Japanese citizen now, I think my brain cells all simultaneously committed sudoku. It's absolutely wild to think that I'm smarter than a Supreme Court Justice. More than that, you know that fat bored teenager who works behind the cash register at your local grocery store? He's smarter than a Supreme Court Justice, too. I would cry if it wasn't so goddamn funny.

Those are all interesting and maybe even compelling points but I'm not sure #4 is really going on. That takes place very, very early in the process.

The basic options:
Option 1: Court Overturns Birthright Citizenship - End of unchecked birth tourism
Option 2: Court rules on EO, punts to congress - Birthright citizenship isn't dead but the power to change it is explicitly given to Congress
Option 3: Court upholds 'historic' interpretation - Status quo continues, country becomes mystery meat
Option 4: (Regardless of ruling) - Next steps would involve Congressional action, policy workarounds (no pregnant women allowed to enter U.S.) or straight up civil unrest

I fear the SCotUS will exercise Option 2 and punt it to Congress. Of course that faggot Roberts could "It survives....AS A TAX!" the situation but he won't because he leans way more to the Obama side than the MAGA one. And that means Option 4 is going to get exercised and that's basically pulling out all the stops, as the Administration is apparently already doing to put a tourniquet on pre-emptively (no pregnant women allowed to 'visit' U.S.) just in case. Stephen Miller said the most conservative estimate is 750,000 Chinese children being raised in China with U.S. citizenship papers from birth tourism. The number could easily be 1M-1.5M. Just for China ALONE. I'll kidna leave that for you anons to ponder in regards to where we're headed if we don't do something quick.

>I would take pains to avoid any place with high amounts of anchor babies or illegal aliens.

Might not be entirely germane to your post but it appears that, if we start with the Kalergi Trail during the Biden administration, once illegals arrived thousands and thousands of them were explicitly flown to specific (typically RED) areas and then further secreted away by local NGOs with the intention of making them hard to find. The bottom line being it's pretty fucking difficult to even know if your city has been injected with illegals simply because they could be stashed lots of places you don't even go- and which is 100% by design. My town is less than 200K and if you take an UBer or Lyft there's a pretty high chance of getting a straight up African driver even though if you go downtown you never actually see them. The most reliable way I've been able to spot them is simply to got to the most run-down Walmart (there are 4-5 between my city and the neighboring city) and just roam around, watching who comes in. But I have no idea where these people actually live. I've seen commentators on Twitter mention similar findings.

For instance: https://x.com/TylerAmerica1st/status/2068820032327668110

This is happening a lot across America right now. Biden administration was worse than cancer for America.

It will lead to years of 'papers please' and only illegals will cry about it, and their importers. That's the only way. Debanking, de-servicing, prosecute people who helped especially in the FedGov, etc.

You'll be able to quit your shitty job and work at an egg packing plant for $90 an hour and prices won't even go up. That's how much we spend on the back-end for illegal aliens. Al Bundy will be real again.

They will vote in his favor and it will be retroactive. It's a magic cure to certain economic crises, which monetary policy will also cure with higher and higher interest rates.

You don't really get it but we want to crank those rates, we will pay out, and it's because we wish to break the global bond market. Japan just kept their prime rate at 1%, that's fucking insane when Uncle Sam pays 7% or so now.

The solution to inflation is to call all the dollars home buy offering a good rate. Even the most butt hurt anti-American countries can't resist the returns.

Well we don't have D-Notices like the UK does and, DESU, I doubt American press would honor them if we did. I'm not talking about what Trump will do with the decision. I am saying that the decision will tell him what he is actually able to do. The strongest case law being used is over 120 years old, which predates all of our current immigration laws. Even if they rule against him, the updated opinion could still wipe out parts of those laws. That will let him know what the guardrails are so that he can figure out how to maneuver around them. >birthright citizenship gamifies citizenship and is dangerous

I've been bolstered lately by commentaries like this:
https://x.com/SteveGuest/status/2069971982364336509

But it basically comes down to 'are we really going to play the game where the bottom line is anyone who shits a baby across the finish line gets welfare for life?' Because America is at quite a number of different crossroads at the moment this is being decided and adjudicating such an absurdity could lead to the kind of civil unrest that doesn't turn off so easily.

The flipside of how volatile this whole situation is, is if jeets are denied access to America they'll harm or poison it on the way out. Or maybe shoot up people. These people are openly posting that they'd rather die than return to india and I believe them.

she didn't need to use the word allegiance, if you replaced every use of it with jurisdiction the argument would make more sense and still be in line with the fourteenth amendment's language (which does not say anything about allegiance, but uses the phrase "under the jurisdiction thereof")

Even for a jeet this is too stupid. Birthright citizenship isn't a thing in 95% of countries.

>6 out of the 9 justices are Originalists, and the Originalist argument is the strongest one in this case.

Canada actually has a muddy legal situation where it isn't really a country nor is it under the actual dominion of the Crown anymore. It's all kind of made up

You also have American youth idolizing Che Guevara.
None of it matters though, congress, senate, white house and AIPAC don't care what hordes of powerless slaves rant about

Can we do both at the same time now that you mention it? And lock the system to keep out first gen imports at the very least?

I haven't seen any Che Guevara love in at least a decade.
I think they all learned he hated fags. And somewhere around 100% of all US commies are fags.

Would be funny if the black one votes in favour of the ban because she doesn't like Chinese people.

Revoke the citizenship of most blacks and Hispanics so that anytime they riot or create chaos they are automatically deported.

The live audio of Supreme Court sessions in recent years have been fascinating and revealing. Jackson and Sotomayor are actual idiots. I heard them say things a high schooler would know are wrong. Thomas should be a national hero if there were any justice in the world, no pun intended. ACB - what a disgrace and a disappointment.

You mean leftniggers are retarded? I already knew.

>You also have American youth idolizing Che Guevara.
Schools don't spend ten straight years propagandizing kids against Che Guevara.
>>
>>537767667
The point is that you have commies, my breakfast non-skipping dude
>>537768193
Idk about schools but the US as a society is heavily propagandized against Cuba, Soviets (even after they're gone), China and so on.

I wish. There are far too many grown ass college graduates that think Che Guevara was a hero and that the Soviets only failed because of "state capitalism" or something Trotsky did.

You will die without a single person that wants you in their land, and, if they were smart at all, would purge you and all of your kind back to fucking india or pakistan or wherever the fuck you should go back to

Trump literally walked out on their arguments because they were majority against ending it

ACB called Chauvin a murderer at her confirmation BEFORE he was tried.
The law has no consequence for these 'judges'
>>
>>537748349
You wish. Nah, legal resident aliens are under the jurisdiction of the United States to some extent, so they are kids will probably be citizens.

1) They are not people, they are brown goblins. 2) I don't care if they drown floating in the ocean, stateless and foodless. 3) Fuck you and your whore mother.

She had nothing to do with the case.

The nigger truly is on a different cognitive level, closer to that of an animal.

If there was a favorable ruling on birthright citizenship it would have been leaked just like the dobbs decision was
