>Venezuela had modern seismic provisions and enforced many of them, but “major conceptual errors” in lateral-force-resisting systems of new buildings were recurring on a “near-universal level.” The authors observed 51 buildings and said hundreds of mid-rise buildings showed similar problems

Underground weapon? None radioactive? An example? A warning... to whom!

Anyway, not my problem.

My bet is they saved money and buit cheaper and less safe.

Venezuela is not a region with known seismic risks. This earthquake (two!) is very suspicious.

deserved for selling out they presidente and his wifee..
>>

Yes, that must be it!
>>
>>537770825
yes it is, there are multiple fault lines in that region
>>
>>537771161
there are fault lines nearly everywhere. large earthquakes are uncommon in Venezuela and one of this size is something you'd expect once in a century in any particular area.

Two same-size quakes within one minute is extremely atypical. There is reason to question if this is artificially produced.

You are retarded and should kys even with Columbus digits.

That was mossad

Same thing happened in Turkey. All the old buildings survived while the new neighborhoods got completely destroyed.
Sofia, Bulgaria could be next in line.

>retarded
maybe but I also studied seismology. How about you?
>>
>>537771662
No you didn't.
> just a useless Master in economics I will never use cause btc made me rich.
I'm still smarter than you RV-living tinfoil retard.

i gotta keep my parents away form social media we werent affected thank god but they get really railed up with shit like this in other places i cant imagine how they gonna react

I'm not going to self-dox but yes I did. I grew up in California and there were frequent earthquakes and this made me interested in the topic from a young age. That said, Venezuela is not a major seismic zone. It's not part of the pacific Ring of Fire.

Smart or not the point is that such an earthquake (two!) is very unusual. When paired with the convenience for current US policy and recent history such as the very convenient one timed perfectly before an election in Turkey one is left to wonder. Especially as the President of America has been going around talking about using his secret 'discombobulator' weapon. Against Venezuela, even.

I thought so, but the reports linked sound a bit more nuanced. It seems there are a lot of factors that can make it structurally unable to withstand a quake even though it may appear to me following codes on a basic level.

>usa
storms and tornadoes are a national problem
the solution is to build houses out of plywood at overprice.
However, they need to teach others how to build houses that don't fall down.

it's physics. just physics they aren't sharing with the public.

Knowing the CIA, this is definitely going to blow up in their faces like the anti Mexican propaganda from 10 years ago.

I think they know that they are just spiteful, bad people who want to cause harm to those who oppose them.

No, it's just extreme bias caused by a non diverse work force.

Yes, it's the one time history where diversity would of been a good.
