You need some kind of scaffolding surrounding this to properly direct the effort and have a clear goal in mind otherwise it's just expending a lot of effort in a way that won't leave you feeling any less directionless, which will probably leave you discouraged and cause you to eventually quit. Squats are a good starter exercise that can be done indoors when going outside isn't practical. Can be done while brushing your teeth or enjoying a show.
Legs carry everything else (including whatever gains you'll make for you upper body) and it'll get you accustomed to pushing past the strain/heat, before you start challenging yourself with exercises that require going out of the house, whether that's due to finally needing weights that aren't available at home, or wanting to traverse terrain that's only outdoors.
First day I was pretty shaky and aching after barely getting to 50 after 30 minutes (proper form) but ended up reaching a point where I'd do 100 with ease before heading into the shower after getting home from work. Anyway, whatever you do, at least keep your limbs in practical shape, both for your older self and whatever strains unexpected emergencies/natural disasters may impose on you.
