Why don't we put bug sunglasses in space to block incoming sunrays at will again? Seems like a pretty ez solution to all the climate fearmongering. In fact, they could double as magnifiers and if some backward country is chimping out again you can just burn them to crisps. Simple as. If we can put telescopes in space, we can put death glasses as well.
>>537806325you sound like my physics advisor. he advocated putting asteroids in the L1 lagrange point to block out the sun. Didn't want to ask him what happens we moved into a high cosmic ray intensity part of the galaxy and we were in danger of another ice age.
What if we all turn around and ignore the sun so it goes away
>>537807278This. the sun is a social construct.
>>537806911>creating type 2 level tech just to destroy yourself because you can't calculate the odds of something of such scale could go wrong in trillions of ways>do it anyway >ackyour professor is a retard
>>537806325>Block the sunBill Gates wanted to do that.
>>537806325You've just been hired by the Trump admin. Congratulations, sir.
>>537806911you change the lenses, instead of blocking the rays they would be be focusing them duhwhen you don't need them, they can just chill and let the rays through. Literally elementary tier climate engineering, bet there is youtube video where poos build the tech by hand>>537807482it is an honor to serve, god bless
