The Parthenon is merely 500 years old, artificially made to look older. The Byzantine emperor Leo the Wise (ca. 9th century) "rediscovered" and promoted knowledge of "Plato" and his "followers." Romans were Dacian refugees and their might greatly overstated. You worship a lie.

lol no, it's less than 100 years old, it was constructed by an english """archeologist""".

It’s actually entirely plausible that the Romans’ very early origins were from the area to become Dacia. However, they could not have BEEN “Dacian”. They would have been whatever pre-paleobalkan language group existed there before the 9th century BC. That’s almost 3000 years ago. Anyway, their homeland was overun later on by the paleobalkan clade, which originally belonged in Ukraine but came southeast during a time of great crisis.

Why do Americans get so butthurt on behalf of Rome? Do they actually believe their well documented country's founding and traditions are a continuation of an phantom empire and attacking the latter means putting their into question? Very imprudent if so.

Naturally a geographical or chronological continuation is out of the question, but what of a spiritual one? Have the Americans been deliberately mass indoctrinated by the astutely designed Roman myth?
The primordial American deep state saw in the phantom empire which we call Rome incredible potential. They saw a country which held "superior" values to its barbarian neighbors, and in expanding over them it didn't harm but "elevated" them, maintaining a peace of sorts that advocated for military service in exchange for the "good" of conquest. "Everyone" benefited, but Rome overwhelmingly so.
The parallels are evident. The US designed a system of global oppression, based on concepts such as "meritocracy," "democracy" and glorification of militarism, to establish a "Pax Americana" (notice the borrowing of the latin for "Peace") that would serve as a front for the enrichment of America at the expense of the world. In the process, everyone was "elevated" through oppression masked as democracy and basic freedoms, all for measly blood and resources of the invaded nations.
The usage of "Roman" symbology is no coincidence (see pic related). America designed the system for world oppression, and retrofitted history in a way that would lend credence and legitimacy to their goals, and subsequently poured these worldviews into the minds of its young, and created the Roman myth out of a phantom of an "empire."
That's why Americans take attacks on Rome personally, it's putting into question the legitimacy of their conquests.

We still to day see manifestations of the American-Roman complex in social media, often associated with id-pol accounts specifically created to foster hatred of immigration, also taken as a "notable cause for the Fall of the Roman (phantom) Empire," because this is tantamount to helping anti-immigration parties get votes, and these are notoriously instruments of the US to destroy Europe in the unfortunate conjunction we find ourselves in. So it's an ideology that still pays dividends, and unfortunately won't change anytime soon because proles are more interest in the "cool" factor than in the scientific merit of history. Alas, this is also a deliberate consequence of the infantilization of the populace through subliminal appeal to mass consumption and the cult of faceless violence, i e good guy kills bad guys and gets the happy ending, to hell with nuance.
Chronology skepticism is a means to fight the good fight, to eliminate destructive prejudice and to shine a mirror in the face of the ugly Lie. This is why I had this thread, and why all dissidents (excpet mindless consensus-drones) are welcome to disagree with me.

The Parthenon was there before the Romans conquered Greece for one thing because the Romans installed a new roof using terracotta tiles and dedicated it to the emperor Nero, when he lost the plot they erased any mention of him. The Romans kept meticulous records of things.

Everyone knows it was built by refugees from Wakanda.
