every developed nation has national health care except USA, which is insane about thisit can work without extra waiting times etc but it takes a little effort to set up so it runs wellI see my family doctor quickly, the europoor public hospitals here are quite ok, emergencies seen swiftly etcone key point is it helps to have tiny co-pays, 1 euro, 3 euros etc ... sounds silly but this works to discourage needless visitsdoctors can be paid per service, private-style, tho fees are in part regulated and mostly covered by the national insurance
